As an author writing a novel based on historical events, I did a lot of research into World War 2 (WWII) and learned some very interesting things. I wanted to share what I’ve learned with others interested in this period of history so I’m going to blog the interesting bits, whether or not I use them in my book.
The day after the Atomic Bomb was dropped on Japan, American troops, the world over listened as the President of the United States explained how this powerful new weapon was about to change the face of this war and end the tyranny of the imperialist Japanese government.
